The BBBank sought to revamp their career site in order to attract and engage suitable candidates who align with their job postings and are well-suited for their available positions.

Requirements workshops
In one workshop with stakeholders from BBBank and the USU product owner the requirements and scope were defined. This is how the Career Portal looked like before the redesign.
Goal & card sorting
The goal of the redesign: getting the right candidates to apply. We faced the problem of defining the actual users and potential candidates of the BBBank. It felt like anyone was a potential candidate. A non moderated remote card sorting study helped shaping the new Information Architecture.
Results and new sitemap
Gathering results from 25 users in a remote non-moderated card sorting helped having insights on how the information architecture was understood. Together with clients in a workshop we decided to shape the information architecture according to the target groups.
The importance of uncertainty
Working on Midfi for the reviews with client was key to success in time and expectations management. This was the MidFi used for that purpose.
Iterations
Utilizing MIDFI significantly expedited the iteration process, especially when collaborating with a client prone to changing preferences.
CMS & web components
The BBBank is responsible for the copywriting and we built all the website in their internal CMS system, therefore I had to minimize the amount of web components and different layouts.
The target groups
Following the hero image, a component known as the "grouptargeter" takes center stage. This feature is designed to tailor your application experience, helping you discover positions that align with your preferences, be it location-based or tailored to your specific applicant profile.
